Ontario Road Reconstruction
Eaton Rd to North Village Limits

UPDATE: Monday, May 20, 2024

The proposed project would involve improvements to an approximately 0.50-mi. segment of Ontario Road between Eaton Road (County JJ) and the North Village Limits. The project is located on the east side of the Village of Bellevue in Brown County.

Allouez Ave
Hazen Road to USH 141 (Main St.)

UPDATE: Monday, April 29, 2024

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region (WisDOT) is announcing that work will begin on Allouez Avenue, from Hazen Road to USH 141 (Main Street) in the Village of Bellevue. The roadway will be closed over the next few months to replace the pavement and add sidewalk throughout the project. The project will consist of grading, storm sewer, pavement replacement, concrete pavement bridge approaches, curb and gutter, sidewalk, pavement markings, signing, and new pedestrian crossing.

Allouez Avenue Construction Access
             

Traffic Impacts
Allouez Avenue will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project with a signed detour route. Access for residents, businesses, and service providers will be maintained, however there will be no access across the bridge over I-43. The signed detour route will use Lime Kiln Road (County Road V) to Verlin Road (County Road JJ) to Main Street (State Road 141).

Utility Construction
Skyview Street and Vanden Bergh Place – B-24

 

UPDATE: Wednesday, May 09, 2024

Construction consists of water main replacement and water and sewer service replacements to the right of way at previously identified properties. Upon completion of replacements of the identified sewer service replacements, all sewer main will be interior lined to enhance the longevity of the underground utility along Skyview Street. All roads will be patched with asphalt and all disturbed turf areas will be restored upon completion.

CONSTRUCTION TIMELINE
April 2024 - July 2024

Week of 05/13/2024

Completion of water main installation along with completion of sanitary sewer and water services throughout Skyview Street.

Week of 05/20/2024
Beginning water main construction on Vanden Bergh Place.

Important Upcoming Dates
04/08/2024 - Start of construction
05/06/2024 - Completion of Water on Skyview and Start of Water on Vanden Bergh
06/10/2024 - Completion of Water on Vanden Bergh
07/15/2024 - Completion of all work & restoration

             

Road Closures, Vehicles & Traffic
For all construction, the road will remain open to a minimum of one-lane of travel. Slight delays may be encountered due to construction equipment using the area. Be attentive of construction workers directing traffic through the construction zone.

Vanden Bergh Business Access
Business access will be maintained as much as possible during construction. We intend to keep driveways open to each business at all times but may need to temporarily close one due to service location. Prior communication will occur if access will be unobtainable. Please contact the Construction Manager if you require special access needs.


Communication:
It is the intent of the Village to minimize the amount of disruption and inconvenience to the community during any construction process. If during normal work hours you feel something went unnoticed, or needs attention, please contact Cedar Corporation @920-491-9081. As project manager, Cedar is most familiar with the daily operations of construction and can resolve many issues quickly.

If something happens after normal work hours that you feel requires immediate attention, please contact our On-Call Laborer @ 920-371-0744, and arrangements will be made to resolve the issue. As always, in an emergency, please call 911.

Sal St. & Industrial Dr. - Sanitary Sewer - E23

 

UPDATE: Thursday, December 1, 2023.

Construction consists of sanitary sewer main replacement and service replacements to the right of way at previously identified properties. Upon completion of replacements, all sewer main will be interior lined to enhance the longevity of the underground utility. All roads will be patched with asphalt and all disturbed turf areas will be restored upon completion.

Sewer Contractor to finish sanitary service replacements. Asphalt Contractor to finish restoration on all work that has been completed.

Week of 12/11/2023
Sewer Contractor working on temporary restoration and demobilizing from the site.
