Notice Regarding Online Water Bill Payment
On Wednesday, July 8, Green Bay Water Utility — which administers water billing for the Village of Bellevue — was alerted by a customer that the online bill payment site operated by its payment vendor, Invoice Cloud, could display another customer's billing information when a last name was entered.
The online payment links for all four communities billed through the system, including Bellevue, were taken offline the same day. Invoice Cloud has corrected the issue, and online payment has been restored and is secure.
No credit card or bank account information was visible at any time. The affected page displayed only the information that appears on a printed water bill: the customer's name, service address, account number, water use, and balance.
