DECLARATION OF SNOW EMERGENCY
Pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 166.03(4) and Village Ordinance, the Village of Bellevue hereby declares a snow emergency. During this period, parking or standing of any vehicle, trailer, or semitrailer—except emergency vehicles—is prohibited on all Village streets until the declaration is lifted. The Police Department may tow any vehicle, trailer, or semitrailer found in violation at the owner’s expense.
This declaration will take effect at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, and will remain in effect until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
During Bellevue’s snow emergency period, the following restrictions apply:
- No vehicles may park on any Village street until the snow emergency has expired.
- Overnight on-street parking permissions will not be granted.
- Vehicles found parked on streets during the snow emergency may be tagged, ticketed, and towed at the owner’s expense.
All Village of Bellevue residents and property owners are required to follow these snow emergency restrictions to avoid citations and to allow crews to clear roads safely and efficiently.
Due to this winter weather event and hazardous conditions, residents are strongly urged to travel only if necessary. Reduced traffic improves motorist safety and allows the Village to more effectively clear streets. The Village of Bellevue Public Works Department thanks residents for their understanding and cooperation.
The Village’s contracted trash and recycling provider has notified staff that Monday collection will begin later than usual and may continue later into the day. Any properties that cannot be reached safely will be bypassed and serviced on the next regularly scheduled pickup day. Residents may place out extra bags on that day if their pickup is missed.
Residents are advised that travel conditions may be extremely hazardous and should only travel in case of emergency. For additional information, please call (920) 468-5225 or visit the Village website.
