Road Paving Project - A-23

 

The Village Board, as part of the 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan, authorized Road Paving Project for completion in 2023 on the following streets. These schedules are tentative pending weather or any construction delays due to unforeseen issues.

May 1 - June 16:
Oriole Street, Bluebill Street & Mallard Street

May 15 - July 13:
Keehan Lane


May 30 - June 23:
New Subdivisions - Bedford Heights -Creekwood Drive & Circle and Willow Grove
3rd Addition - Willow Grove Lane and Evening Star Drive


July 3 - August 18:
Vail Court, Lucerne Court, Blue Spruce Drive & Court, Blue Moon Drive, Garden Heights Courts


Communication:
It is the intent of the Village to minimize the amount of disruption and inconvenience to the community during any construction process. If during normal work hours you feel something went unnoticed, or needs attention, please contact Thad Majkowski at (920) 785-7302 with Cedar CorporationAs project engineer and inspector, Cedar Corporation is most familiar with the daily operations of construction and can resolve many issues quickly.

Willow Road - Sidewalk Project

 

The Village Board, as part of the 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan, authorized the Willow Road – Sidewalk Project for completion in 2023. This project is part of the Village Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan.


The project area is on Willow Road from the existing sidewalk at Manitowoc Road, east to the existing sidewalk at South Huron Road. The sidewalk will be constructed on the north side to match the current sections on the eastern end; the final location will be determined in the Design Phase. 


Summer 2023:
Construction will begin end of April 2023.

Special Assessments- Manitowoc Road Reconstruction 

 

The Village Board, as part of the 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan, authorized Street Reconstruction for completion in 2023 on the following streets.

Public Informational Meeting:
The Village will host an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at 3100 Eaton Road (Public Safety Building). A short presentation will be made at 5:30 p.m., followed by an open question/answer session with project representatives. A copy of the presentation and fact sheets will be available to those who arrive after the presentation begins and made available on the Village Website. Agenda.

Street Lights @Monroe & Town Hall Road

 

WEDNESDAY - 02/08
Contractors will be running tests on the new street lights at the corner of Monroe & Town Hall Rd. to setup sequencing & timing. Once completed, the lights will run in FLASHING MODE through Sunday.

WEDNESDAY (02/08) - SUNDAY (02/12)
The street lights will run in FLASHING MODE through Sunday, 02/12 to allow for the traveling public to get used to the new lights. 

MONDAY - 02/13
The street lights will be fully operational.

Willow Road - Sidewalk Project

Week of 01/02/2023:
A topographic field survey of the project area will begin this week and should conclude sometime in the next few weeks. Residents will see flags in their right-of-way indicating the locations of utilities. Do not remove these flags.
