Advance is the Economic Development arm of the Greater Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.  Advance is a public-private partnership committed to improving and diversifying the local economy by assisting businesses on a variety of levels.  With a focus on business retention and expansion, Advance offers business assistance and consulting as well as housing a Business incubator.  The organization also manages a countywide micro-loan program and operates a special food business incubator.

Green Bay Chapter of SCORE is part of a national nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of the nation's small business. SCORE volunteers serve as Counselors to America's Small Business.

Green Bay SCORE provides free and confidential business mentoring/counseling tailored to meet the needs of your small business and your personal objectives. Green Bay SCORE also offers workshops, for a modest fee, for both start-up entrepreneurs and in-business, small business owners.

SCORE volunteers are real-world professionals with time-tested knowledge who donate thousands of hours to help small businesses succeed. Counselors are experts in such areas as accounting, finance, marketing, management and business plan preparation.

WHEDA works closely with lenders, developers, local government, nonprofits, community groups and others to implement its low-cost financing programs. Since 1972, WHEDA has financed more than 77,000 affordable rental units, helped more than 118,000 families purchase a home and made more than 29,000 small business and agricultural loan guarantees.

WHEDA’s mission is to stimulate the state’s economy and improve the quality of life for Wisconsin residents by providing affordable housing and business financing products.
